We follow Traditional Kindergarten method of teaching backed by “Integrated approach”
Management has been keen on the improvement of quality teaching; for the purpose they provide various “In-service training” to teachers. The teachers are made able in terms of using technology through the usage of projectors and Audio visual equipment, while teaching.
Teaching methodology has been standardized by the usage of more creative and upgraded teaching aids. More emphasize is being given on the holistic development of the kids by conducting activities to support their Physical, Socio emotional and cognitive abilities along with numerical and language literacy.
The list of activities conducted for different domain development:
- Morning circle of Rhymes with actions.
- Gross motor activities – Free play at play area and few physical exercises on daily basis- basketball, slide, sea saw etc.,
- Fine motor activities – THUMB PRINTING, PAINTING WITH CRAYONS, BEAD ACTIVITIES, CLAY MODELING, SAND PLAY, BUILDING THE BLOCKS, PEG ACTIVITIES ETC.,
- Language and literacy – Shloka,Rhymes, Story Time, Puppetry, Role Plays, Reading Time.
- Cognition (intellectual) activities – Mathematical Concepts, Sizes And Series Using Blocks, Puzzles Etc.,
- Social and cultural behavior – Celebrations of Traditional and National festivals, special days like – Grandparents’ day, Farmer’s day, Community helper’s day, Environmental day etc., Parents are equally encouraged and made to be a part of all the programs by giving related works in preparing the children for the occasion.
The above said activities are well merged with the weekly planner to go along with the syllabus and schedule of the school without disturbing the base learning.
Teachers are capable and caring enough to make children comfortable and relaxed during the course of learning.
The present crowd of 171 students in the kindergarten segment speaks about the popularity and quality of service provided.
We operate through 5 sections with learned teachers and enough helping hands to assist to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the children and classrooms.
Children are assessed with monthly tests and exams during the year. Parents are kept updated about the daily activities and portions to be revised for the day through the dairy on daily basis.
Children are encouraged to develop their special qualities and abilities through competitions like fancy dress, drawing, craft, and recitation competitions.
Sports day is one of the grand celebrations conducted by our management to encourage and spread the importance of Play and Sportsmanship among the children.
Annual day is celebrated every year and Graduation day to bid farewell to the UKG students.
